Amsterdam Cruise Port

Amsterdam Cruise Port (ACP), is a non-profit association and all our participants work in the cruise industry. Several authorities and businesses participate and work together to provide the best possible service to cruise companies. The members offer a package of shipping and tourist services in support of cruise calls. Partners are Amsterdam Marketing, the passenger terminals in Amsterdam and IJmuiden, the port authority, port agents, incoming tour operators, various attractions and tourist service providers, hotels, local and provincial authorities.
Amsterdam Cruise Port coordinates the project River cruise Noord-Holland in cooperation with the Province of Noord-Holland and 8 cities; Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Den Helder, Enkhuizen, Haarlem, Hoorn and Medemblik, as well as Zaanstad (Zaandam and Zaanse Schans). All these cities have invested considerably in their cruise facilities over the last years and would be happy to welcome your ships in these harbours. The environment is defined by water, vast polders, nature reserves, flower fields, picturesque villages, windmills and lively harbours, contoured by a boundless coastline.
The organisation ACP wishes to be an active network organisation in which all parties work together in an aimable, smart and responsible manner to be able to guarantee an optimal service for our guests.

Passenger Terminal Amsterdam

Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is a joint venture between the Municipal Port Authority of Amsterdam, which is responsible for the maritime operation, and NS Stations, which is responsible for managing and marketing the terminal. The management and organization of the terminal is undertaken by a compact, dedicated team within which short lines of communication and customer-orientation take centre stage.
Since Passenger Terminal Amsterdam has become operational, the attraction of Amsterdam for cruise ships has greatly increased. Today's cruise ships can be handled more smoothly, which means that passengers can be offered a high level of service and a enjoyable experience. The 600m long (and 35m wide) quay with brand new gangways, dedicated duty managers and a welcoming market in the terminal for the passengers make it an enjoyable experience to call on Amsterdam.
Amsterdam's multifunctional cruise terminal lies at the edge of the city centre. Even from the ship, there is already a wonderful view of the city centre. From the ship's gangway, cruise tourists can easily walk into the city or take a taxi or tram to the centre. Passenger Terminal Amsterdam has developed a unique protocol in order to handle cruise ships as efficiently as possible. A strategy has been developed to co-ordinate aspects such as logistics, infrastructure, passenger flows, transport flows, project and process management with one another in the most optimal way, in order to handle ships as smoothly as possible. The wishes of the cruise operators and passengers are naturally the most important point here.
